4 pronged rebellion planned in Devon, kent, lestcrshire, and welsh borders

6th feb - Cross at Kingston bridge, wyatt surrenders at ludgate
12 February 1554 – general execution of supporters
Is trailed march the 15th and killed April the 11th
As a result 90 of Wyatt’s followers Lady Jane Grey and her husband Dudley were executed

Prior to Mary, women had ruled England in regency or as consorts (e.g., Matilda of England in the 12th century, Elizabeth of York, and Catherine of Braganza), but Mary I was the first to ascend the throne without any male monarch to share the power.
