Release of NE does what to the bladder?
Allows bladder to fill
Relaxes smooth muscles in the bladder wall and excites the smooth muscles in the sphincter valve
Release of ACh does what to the bladder?
Empties bladder
Release of ACh relaxes smooth muscles in sphincter valve and excites smooth muscles in wall of bladder
What is the only thing that has been proven beneficial for feline LUTD therapy?
Environmental changes- reduce stress, litter box numbers, water sources, activity/playing
