information recieved to amend performance and make improovement
often combind with praise to create a feel-good factor
negative feedback
information on what is going wrong so that errors can be corrected and bad habits eliminated
extrinsic feedback
derived from an outside source eg coach so that the performer can gain a view of what they need to improve on or which aspects they need to maintain
intrinsic feedback
feedback from within
they can use their kinathesis to know if they’ve done a bad shot
knowldege of results
gives an indication if the skill has been sucsessful, concered with the outcome
knowledge of performance
about the technique, how the technique can be developed to produce better performance then the last attempt
