What is the FCOM purpose?
A
Provide all necessary operating limits, procedures, performance and system information the flight crew need to safely and efficiently operate aircraft during normal, abnormal and emergency situations

How many layer is FCOM organized?
A
- Layer 1 “ need to know”: information necessary in the cockpit
- Layer 2 “nice to know”: information that is used as a reference, in order to fully understand the logic of the aircraft and pilot interfaces
- Layer 3 : provide more detailed explanation, that not necessarily needed in flight
