- Engine in lead cab (others will revert to idle)

(you can coast as brakes are normal until either DSD Is released or doors are released by the guard)

What will happen if Train Control MCB is tripped?
“Dead Desk” (its as if you’ve taken the key out)
Loss of all the following
DSD, DRA, Power Controller, Couple Facility.

(If the MCB will not reset, you must Isolate the engine on the affected vehicle)
Brake MCB trips, what will happen AND if wont reset what will you have to do?

Full service brake application
Hazard lights will come on
If will not reset you will have to do a wrong direction move from the rear cab (EBS raised in affected cab) or get assistance from the front.
What do the following letters stand for on the MCB Board.
C, CDCB, DSCB
C = Cab To Cab Comms CDCB= Crew Door Circuit Breaker DSCB= Destination Circuit Breaker
If circuit breaker EL Trips what will you lose?
Emergency Lighting, so you will lose all lighting on the train
If ML trips and wont reset, what will happen?
MAIN LIGHTING
Lighting will revert to emergency Lighting
Engine wont turn?

Doors open or released given. Key in another cab. defective coupler. defective AWS. defective DSD. defective DVD. Accidental division.
