Non pus-producing inflammatory lesion affecting breast adipose tissue often caused by trauma

What are the clinical features of fat necrosis?
A
Irregularly defined and dense breast mass
Leading to skin retraction, erythema, or ecchymosis (bruise)

How is breast fat necrosis diagnosed?
A
(Mammogram and/or ultrasound) showing fluid-filled cyst
