- 3, Displaying the Work Calendar.
- How do you hide Non Working days?
Format–>View. In the Timeline Columns display area, select the HIDE CONTINUOUS NON-WORK/SHADE OTHER option. Click OK.
- Whereas FILTERING hides rows, SORTING rearranges the row order based on
information in an activity’s columns.
- How do you apply a SORT?
On the Toolbar, click SORTS and make your choice
- How do you DEFINE (create) a new SORT?
Open the Sorts, click New, give it a name, make your choices.
- The SORTS dialog contains a checkbox called DEFINE AS MASTER SORT. What is this?
It defines the selected SORT as the MASTER SORT ORDER. Once a sort becomes the MASTER ORDER OF ACTIVITIES, you cannot return to the original order. When you restore activities, they will restore to the master sort order.
- How do you return to the Master Sort Order?
Command R, or Project Menu–>Restore All
- How do you create a Calendar for a SPECIFIC TASK?
a. Open the information form for the task b. Click NEW Calendar c. Enter name for calendar and select a base calendar d. If necessary, make modifications for the calendar e. click out.
