Immerse herself in the mikvah and recite a special blessing
What does the mikvah symbolize?
Affirmation of life and purity
What are the requirements for the mikvah?
Gathering of natural water, such as a well or lake or rain-water (not a pool or bath artificially accumulated by such means of plumbing).
What happens if the bride is a menstraunt on the wedding night?
Te wedding ceremony must be modified somewhat, but it will not be apparent to the guests.
The seclusion of bride and groom after the ceremony (yichud) is omitted, or it may even be held, but with another person present. This wedding ceremony is called chuppat niddah.
