Phenomenon that occurs when a group of individuals reaches a consensus
without critical reasoning or evaluation of the consequences or alternatives
Polarization
Polarization occurs when a group of people who all have similar views on an issue
discusses that issue among themselves
Contra memo
a written argument against the position that the group is inclined to go with.
Pre-mortem
a collective thought experiment like the following: draws attention to potential weak spots that may otherwise go overlooked.
