What are the sociological problems?

A

Any aspect of social life either normal or deviant is a sociological problem.

Functions to increase knowledge of how society works.

Encourages participants and social policy makes to adjust or change existing laws and policies.

Some research aims to be descriptive and describes a particular situation of set facts.

Some research explains a particular social phenomenon (e.g. poverty) and involves some description.

The goal is to suggest why poverty occurs and encourages social policy to change rates in poverty for disadvantaged individuals.
