> notify the WS/SC immediately

> if threat received by phone, complete the AF Form 440 (do not hang up the telephone even if caller terminates the conversation)

> try to keep the caller on the line and get as much information as possible without threatening, aggravating, or insulting the caller.

> if received by mail:

 - handle the item as little as possible to preserve forensic evidence
 - copy the info and leave the original for investigation
 - if suspected an explosive device don’t touch it
 - note any details and leave the scene untouched for investigation
