Obese means person with a lot of body fat
What is coeliac
Coeliac is a autoimmune response to gluten. Villi in small intestine is damaged gluten, it also reduces the surface area so less nutrients are absorbed. This leads to malnutrition, weight loss, tiredness. This means that you cannot eat anything with gluten in eg no wheat, rye or barley
What is the sugar in blood controlled by
The amount of sugar in blood is controlled by a hormone called insulin, this is made by the pancreas. Insulin moves glucose out of blood into cells where it breaks down energy.
What do type 1 sufferers have?
People with type 1 diabetes usually develop it from birth or early adulthood. Their body cannot produce insulin as it destroys cells that make it. They have to have insulin in injections
