In-turning causes eyelashes to be pushed against the cornea.
Referral for surgery needed.

Outward turning of the eyelid margin, exposing the conjunctiva and cornea to atmosphere.
Seen with advancing age and Bell’s palsy.

Blepharitis treatment

Hygiene
Washing lids with baby shampoo diluted.
Failure to respond is referral.

Stye treatment

Answer 4

NOT anitbiotics unless other reasons to worry about secondary infection like suppressed immune system (would refer in this case)

Hot compress 5-10mins qds.
