Why does law change due to time/place and culture?
A crime is what society defines as criminal. If a society’s values change or differ then so will their laws.

Homosexuality:
1967- legalised for 21+
1997- legalised for 16+
2014- same-sex marriage legalised

It’s legal in 58 countries mainly muslim like India and the Philippines. Yet, in turkey it’s illegal. Also in Uk illegal. As it’s bigamy. This is because the Qur’ran allows men to have up to 4 wives.
