when all the variables in the experiment are controlled. participants are aware they are in an experiment.IV is manipulated and DV is measured.
what is a field experiment?
it is when the the experimenter takes advantage of a natural space, such as a field. The IV is deliberately manipulated. Participants sometimes know they are in experiment.
what is a quasi experiment?
The IV can not be manipulated as it is already set ( people are already born with it)
what is a natural experiment?
Is when the experimenter takes advantage of the situation. The IV cannot be manipulated. Participants do not know they are in a experiment
