  • ppts should be given the right to withdraw at any point whether this is before, after or even during the experiment.
  • if a considerable amount of stress is felt then the researcher should provide ppts with therapy or counselling.

  • protect personal data by maintaining an anonymity (keeping identities secret)
  • data should not be shared with other researchers only findings and conclusions.
  • refer to ppts as number or letters.
