Evaluate the use of repeated measures

A

+ Requires less participants
+ Reduces individual differences or participant variables
- Order effects may affect findings, For example participants may be bored fatigued or guess the aim of the study by the time they complete the second independent variable
+ However Order effects can be minimised by using counterbalancing

Different participants complete different conditions but the participants are assessed and matched with a pair in the other condition based on characteristics
