To support our ongoing efforts to ensure fairness, diversity, equal opportunity, and transparency in City government, the Mayor hereby directs as follows:
A
- Racial Equity Officers
- Development of Racial Equity Action Plans
- City of Los Angeles Racial Equity Task Force
- Preparing for the Future with the repeal of Prop 209

Racial Equity Action Plans:
A
- plans to attract, promote, or hire pool of qualified candidates
- Personnel dept to develop and maintain mandatory training on implicit bias
- No City Dept should differentiate an employee on the basis of their race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin
- conduct outreach to certain underrepresented groups to promote diversity and equity

The Racial Equity Task Force is comprised of:

Each City Dept’s Racial Equity Officers and representatives designated by the Mayor’s office.
