Q

How do the kidneys work?

A

Oxygen rich blood-renal artery to kideys
Filtered by nephrons
Urea, other waste products form urine and pass through nephrons and down renal tubules of kidney.

Oxygen poor blood- exits kidney through renal veins. Down ureters into bladder. Sphincters ke p urine from leaking( muscles close tightly like a rubber band around opening of bladder into urethra ) then down the urethra tube that allows urine to pass outside the body.
