A
  • Carbon Dioxide, produced during respiration, dissolves in the plasma and tissue fluid to form a weak acid that can denature enzymes
  • Urea - produced in liver and can also denature enzymes
  • Salts - Can be in excess diet can have an effect of water potential in the blood

Q

Adaptations of the structures of the kidney

A
  • Recieves a good flow of flood from the renal artery at high pressures
  • Each kidney contain 100s of tubes called nephrons , that can filter substances through the blood
  • Each kidney has a exit tube the ureter carry out the urine
