Put the source into context with your own knowledge- attribution

Spend around 11-12 minutes on it
6 marks for analysis of interpretation
4 marks for own knowledge
How should you structure question 3?
No need for more than 18 sentences
Start with interpretation 1
Does it agree with the statement? Quote from the interpretation
Expand on the message of the interpretation with own knowledge
Refer to authorship
X2 for second interpretation
Final judgement on why their opinions differ

Spend around 12 minutes on it
8 marks for use of source, 3 marks on own knowledge

No more that 18 sentences
State that both sources ARE USEFUL to a historian…
State why source A is useful
Source A- part of the source that helps the historian learn you reason stated
Provide own knowledge
2nd reason

Spend around 22 minutes on it
12 marks for the overall evaluation of the interpretation
4 marks for own knowledge
3 marks for SPaG
How should you structure question 5?
Around 1 and a half pages
START WITH AUTHORSHIP
Prove the authors view
2 pieces of own knowledge that prove the POV and explain how they do it
Bring in counter argument.
2 pieces of own knowledge to explain how they disprove the interpretation
Give final judgement, stating which side you agree with and why
