Constantine moved the capitol more north causing it to be attacked more easily.

Julius Caesar caused them to fall by splitting the country and moving the capitol.

- Stola- Dress suspended from 2 straps.
- Paludamentum- large white or purple cloak. Worn by emperors or generals.
- Clavis- Broad purple bands on tunics that distinguish the senators or noble men.
- Titulus- hairstyle for women when husbands because “matter of familias”. Hair is drawn up into a cone.
