Explain the concept of adaptive behaviours
Behaviours which increase our chances of survival (adaptive) become more evidient through the process of survival of the fittest.

Women know for certain their child belongs to them, men cannot be so sure.
What is Anti-cuckoldry Behaviour ?
To maximise their chances of reproductive success, males displays “vigilance” and “violence” towards the potential competition.

Whatis Direct gurading ?
Keeping Tabs on social behaviour E.g Monitoring their partners whereabouts, checking their phone or telling them what to wear.
What is Negative inducements ?
Issuing threats & consequences E.g “I will kill myself if you leave me”
What is maladaptive behaviour ?
Bullying mey be an adaptive behaviour, Volk (2012) suggest Bullying quickly establishes a social hierachy that may have been essential in primitve times to more dominant meemebers having a greater reproductive success.
