The study that focuses on actions of people. (The Hawthorne Studies)
What were the Hawthorne Studies?
Divided employees to see the effect various factors such as lighting had on productivity. Findings were job design, length of workday and rest periods.
What did the human relations movement discover?
A satisfied worker will be more productive
