What happened in the Battle of Badr and why did the Muslims win?
There were 313 Muslims and 1000 Meccans. The Muslims were united and felt god on their side. They blocked off the wells and angels appeared to help them. Whereas the Meccans were tired, thirsty, afraid and not a team at all. The war lasted for a few hours. The Muslims attacked a caravan of goods so the Quraysh got angry and started a battle.
What happened in Muhammad’s return to Mecca?
It was called the bloodless battle. The Muslims had clever tactics and lit 10,000 fires to spread fear but not harm. There was a peace treaty in Mecca. Muhammad destroyed the idols at the Ka’ba. Muslims worshipping in Mecca so reclaimed the Ka’ba so now it’s the focal point of Islam.
How did Muhammad die?
Muhammad died of illness in Medina. He was buried in the prophets mosque (1st mosque built). He died in 632 CE on the 8th of May.
