A
The sample was unrepresentative (All American Men, ethnocentric, aged 20-50) This would not represent women at all!

- Limited to those who responded to a newspaper article so could hold demand characteristics!
- Gathered both qualitative (through interviews and observation)and quantitative (Levels of shock)

A
Not ecologically valid , carried out in an artificial Setting however could be argued that other experiments have been carried out in less artificial setting gaining similar results(Hofling)

Good reliability as there was good control and standardized procedure of the experiment (all used same apparatus , all believed they were giving the confederate shocks)
