What is amateurism?
participation in sport for the love of it, receiving no financial gain
Why is the olympic oath?
a promise made by one athlete, one judge, one coach to represent all participants of the olympics that promise to play by the rules
What is sportsmanship?
conforming to the rules, spirit and etiquette of a sport

What is simulation?
trying to deceive an official by over acting for example diving in football
What is gamesmanship?
bending the rules and stretching them to their absolute limit without getting caught using whatever dubious methods possible to achieve the desired results
What is positive deviance?
behaviour which is outside the norms of society but with no intent to harm or break the rules. It involves over-adherence to the norms or expectations of society
What is negative deviance?
behaviour that goes against the norms and has a detrimental effect on individuals and soviet in general
