A

The participant needs to know about all the factors that may affect their willingness to participate. They must also be over 16 years old.

A

Their parents or guardians must give informed consent as well as - in some cases - their head teacher.

What is right to withdraw and how must it be made available?

A

It must be clear from onset that the participants can withdraw from the study at any time. They can also withdraw their data following the study.

What is a debriefing and what must be included?

A

Participants are thanked. The aim of the study is clarified. Any remaining issues, regarding problems, must be dealt with.
