unwritten agreement to follow and abide by the written and unwritten rules

A chemical substance which when taken in by the body can alter the biochemical system

Drugs that have an effect on the CNS they increase your mental and/or physical awareness

a natural hormone released to speed the heart rate up
What are the side effects of stimulants
high blood pressure and headaches strokes and irregular heartbeats anxiety and tremors insensitivity to serious injuries addiction
What are Narcotic analgesics and what do they do?
Morphine, heroin and codeine

Also known as steroids -increasing muscle strength - enabling them to train for longer -Sexual and physique problems liver damage and heart disease

- Reduces weight lose quickly

What is an example of a Prohibited method (Drugs) and what do they do? and what are the consequences
Blood doping is a prohibited method Could cause: -HIV -kidney damage if wrong blood used Take it because: -chance of increased fame -increased chances of success
What are beta blockers and what do they do
Used to steady nerves side effects: -weakness -nausea taken to: -reduce heart rate and muscle tension -reduce effects of adrenaline
