Paragraph 1

A

Not everyone goes to heaven:
Exclusivists – only christians and those who believe in Christ and his salvation
Jesus salvation is necessary for exclusivists
Supported in the bible by the sheep and the goats – we need good works and faith to be saved so only christians
HOWEVER this parable teaches that we will be judges by our actions not by our faith
As other faiths follow similar actions to christianity so they will also be saved

Paragraph 3

A

The use of anonymous christian, someone who is open to God’s grace but is not a christian, by Rahner is not successful as supported by Von Balthasar who said that the church should not go into hiding in the modern world bu instead stand out in the open and only salvation is in Christianity
God would not condemn all non-christians to hell in particular those how had never heard of him is not successful
Even if they are living a good life, they have not accepted salvation which is a necessary part of being saved
Having no belief in God but being saved raises the question of what is the point of christianity or any other religion as in the end all that is needed is to have a good life
A good life can never be defined
This is not successful and therefore showing that we Jesus and Christianity is necessary for salvation

Conclusion

A

In conclusion, it can be argued that from both and inclusivist and exclusivist view that not everyone will be saved. In stead those that will be saved are those who have accepted Jesus salvation on the cross and live a life in accordance with his teachings.
