1. Call for help early
2. Cricoid pressure
3. Sniffing position, pillow under shoulders + head
4. Jaw thrust + OP airway
5. 100% O2 + mask ventilate
6. LMA
7. Cricothyroidotomy
8. Wake patient up & refer

Step 1:

1. Basic manoeuvres - head tilt, chin lift, jaw thrust
2. Reposition - pillow
3. Simple airways - OP
4. Cricoid adjustment
5. Laryngoscopy

Step 2:
1. LMA

Step 3:
1. Cricothyroidotomy

• Attempt oxygenation with face mask/ airway before moving onto next step*
• CALL FOR HELP EARLY*

Step 4:

1. If at any point - can ventilate
2. Oxygenate
3. Decide on: waking patient or airway choices
