- Do not treat with topical steriods - can make it worse / prevent healing

* locally invasive
* affects eyes and mouth areas
* see in gray-colored horses

Exuberant Granulation Tissue
* occurs with healing wounds on distal limbs (below carpus and hocks)
* highly vascular, no nerve supply
* appears like a tumor

- Suture lacerations
- Surgical debulking
- Pressure bandage
- Topical medications (steriods)
