poverty is a huge cause and crime is higher in urban areas than in rural. central London has the highest crime rate also a lot in Heathrow airport e.g. theft, drugs and immigration

UK is a multicultural society and migrants move to the suburbs due to greater affluence and employment

newly arrived immigrants feeling isolated slowly feel less so due to a willingness to acclimatise to the culture-loving neer to people of the same ethnic group.

many elderly remain in inner-urban areas and in the area changes around them with rising crime and hecticness they end up feeling socially isolated too.
