idiopathic inflammation blanch with phenylephrine drops no VA disturbance absent - mild pain superficial inflammation - non-infective inflammation

A
autoimmune inflammation does NOT blanch with phenylephrine blurred vision/vision loss severe pain deep inflammation full thickness inflammation of sclera associated with melting cornea

Uveitis - iris, choroid, ciliary body
A
pain, photophobia, unilateral eye redness
ciliary flush and dilated vessels around iris
serious problem - congestion vessels - limbal injection
keratic precipitates hypopyon + floaters muddy iris rubeosis - new vessels on iris posterior synechia can cause glaucoma posterior sub capsular cataract
Rx dilate pupil to break synechiae
