corneal - neovascularisation - resolves forms ring like scar

Corneal scarring + Keratoconus/ refractive error

A

yellow white deposit on conjunctiva adjacent to limbus
NO corneal extension
Rx: Lubrication

Pterygium

A

benign wedge shaped fibrovascular growth of conjunctiva - extends into cornea
causes ocular surface irritation
extends onto cornea = visual impairment
Rx: surgical excision (if bothers patient)
