Epilepsy is a neurological disorder marked by sudden recurrent episodes of sensory disturbance, loss of consciousness, or convulsions and is associated with electrical activity in the brain.

• In over half of cases, cause cannot be found.
• Idiopathic (cause not found)
• Symptomatic/Secondary (Known cause like stroke, brain injury, tumour etc).
