- Stimulant drug abuse (PCP, Cocaine, Meth)
- Underlying psychiatric
- Non-compliance with medications to control psychosis or bipolar disorder
- Alcohol withdrawal
What are the clinical indicators of CO exposure?
Headaches, errors in judgement, confusion, loss of coordination, loss of consciousness, chest pain, cyanosis, seizures, irritability, vomiting
What are some early signs of cyanide exposure?
anxiety, vertigo, weakness, headache, tachypnea, nausea, dyspnea, vomiting and tachycardia
What are the signs of higher exposure to cyanide?
- Makedly altered level of consciousness
- Seizures
- Respiratory depression or respiratory arrest
- Hypotension
- Cardiac Dysrhythmia
- History of recent smoke inhalation
