What is a common noun?
Ordinary thing. Words that don’t give full detail about the subject. E.g girl, car,school.
What is a proper noun?
The name of something. E.g Mia, Cape Town
What is a collective noun?
A group of things (nouns). E.g suite of furniture.
What is a abstract noun?
Name of anything that can not be experienced by the five senses. ( hope, talent curiosity)
What is subject-verb concord?
Where the subject and verb agree with each other.
E.g The dog _ chews the bone. The dogs chew _ the bone.

Used when a person performs an action to or for him/herself.

What is a relative pronoun?
They ‘relate’ to the word that it’s relative sentences modifies.

Used to connect a sentence to a noun or pronoun.

That, which, who, whose, whoever, whomever, whichever.
