What are the difference between ‘Hot Rolled’ and ‘Cold Rolled’ products?

A

Hot Rolled products are cheaper, the finish will appear black and scaly. The edges are usually rounded.

Cold Rolled products are smooth and bright upon appearance and will come closer to tolerances, with sharper edges.
