What is the pathophysiology of PCOS?
A
- Increased LH leads to increased testosterone production
- Decreased FSH production leads to follicular degeneration (disrupted menses) and bilateral cystic ovaries

What are the laboratory findings in PCOS?
A
Increased testosterone (DHEA) and increased LH:FSH ratio > 3:1

What is the treatment for PCOS?
A
- Lifestyle changes (diet, exercise to reduce insulin resistance)
- Combo OCP
- Spironolactone to treat androgen symptoms
