Q
(MTA)
A
Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) is a non-resorbable material that can stimulate cementoblasts to produce cementum. Because of this, it is often used for apexogenesis or apexification procedures.
Enamel–> Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) does not stimulate regeneration of enamel.
The periodontal ligament and alveolar bone will generally regenerate on their own in the absence of bacteria and irritants.
