Q

How do hormones work? Stage 1 -4

A

1 - Endocrine gland gets stimulated and releases hormones into the bloodstream.
2- H gets sent around body until they find the correct target cell
3- Initiated the wanted responce into the cell
4- When responce is given, endocrine gland stops production of H.

6 stages of the role of Insulin

A

1- Glucose are released
2- Pancreas detects increase in G
3- Pancreas releases insulin
4- Insulin allows cells to be more permiable

Q

Describe a motor neurons structures and functions

A
Cell body (regulates activity)
Axon (Transmits action potentials along length of cell)
Axon terminal (Bridge between neuron and other cells)
Myelin sheath (Casing that covers neuron for protection)
Dendrites ( Carries incoming potentials + communicates to other cells RE. Sensation)
