FOLLICULAR STIMULATING HORMONE
Stimulates the production of maturing follicles in the ovaries
LUTEINISING HORMONE
Causes ovulation
ADRENOCORTICOTROPHIC HORMONE
Stimulates the release of cortisol from the Adrenalin glands

Stimulates other endocrine
Describe what hypothyroidism is?
Hypothyroidism, also called underactive thyroid or low thyroid, is a disorder of the endocrine system in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. It can cause a number of symptoms, such as poor ability to tolerate cold, a feeling of tiredness, constipation, depression, and weight gain.
HYPERTHYROIDISM
Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) is a condition in which your thyroid gland produces too much of the hormone thyroxine. Hyperthyroidism can accelerate your body’s metabolism significantly, causing sudden weight loss, a rapid or irregular heartbeat, sweating, and nervousness or irritability.
What does excessive CORTISOL do to the STOMACH in cases of long term stress
It is released in response to stres and moe blood glucose concentration. It functions to increase blood sugar through gluconeogenesis, to suppress the immune system, and to aid in the metabolism of fat, protein and carbohydrates.
ADRENAL MEDULLA SECRETIONS
NORADRENALINE also called NOTRPINEPHRINE function is to mobilise the brain and body for action. It promoted vasoconstriction and Adrenalin which boosts the action of the sympathetic nervous system
LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
The LYMPHATIC SYSTEM is s network is TISSUES and ORGANS that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph. A fluid containing infection fighting white blood cells throughout the body
T CELLS
Attach inside the cell in our body
B CELLS
Attack outside the cell
HODGKINS DISEASE
H odgkin disease is a type of lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of a part of the immune system called the lymph system. The first sign of Hodgkin disease is often an enlarged lymph node. The disease can spread to nearby lymph nodes. Later it may spread to the lungs, liver, or bone marrow.
