why does addison’s cause hyponatraemia and hyperkalaemia?

A

adrenal insufficiency results in low aldosterone, resulting in sodium being lost in the urine and retention of potassium (usually aldosterone promotes sodium reabsorption and potassium excretion for electrolyte balance)
