How must the first arriving company park the apparatus and why?
The first arriving company shall park the apparatus at a 45 degree angle blocking at least one lane of traffic taken up by the incident. They must park this way to provide protection for personnel operating the pump panel or aerial controls whenever possible.
How must the second arriving company park the apparatus?
They shall park the same as the first arriving company, 200 ft before that first company. Traffic cones and flares may be utilized.
