What is emotional intelligence

A

Emotional intelligence refers to the ability of an individual to recognise their emotions, understand what they mean and how they affect the people around you. Emotional intelligence includes your perception of others, how well you understand how others feel will influence how you manage relationships. We all have different personalities, different wants and needs, and different ways of showing our emotions.
