What is a code green in long form?
Code Green is used in an urgent situation when a person is in need of de-escalation or other safety intervention for behavioral control.
Code Green is used to notify staff of a behavioral disturbance. In a clinic setting Code Green involves using de-escalation techniques only. No physical interventions are to be used unless defending oneself from an imminent physical attack.

Call your site’s emergency phone number.
Determine unresponsiveness.
