One medical kit is located in the forward cabin cupboard, the other in the aft cabin. The EEMK is located in the aft left overhead bin.

A

How are the emergency lights powered and charged?

A

The emergency lights are powered by four 6.5 volt NiCad battery packs located above each emergency exit. They are charged by the left main DC BUS. They can be turned on manually via the switch in the cockpit or will come on automatically if the are armed and power to the left main bus fails.

You’re leaving the airplane for the night and power off the batteries then notice the emergency lights have been activated. You turn the emergency light switch to OFF but they won’t go out. How do you turn them off?

A

The Batteries must be turned back on, then turn off the emergency lights, then turn the batteries back off.
