A

watery blue colour with spotlights on the floor that symbolises birth/ the womb (Genesis)

each dancer is contained weighing their spotlight which defines the space the dancers move in

gives an eerie, mysterious, calm mood

A

intense white side light from stage right that creates a mysterious and intense mood and highlighter the movement (rugby scrum)

medium intensity blue wash and lighter blue spotlight to highlight duet as well as white side lighting when the ensemble enters

this defines the space for the duet but also creates a moment of tranquility where the music, costumes and light all complement each other
