what is the aural setting?
music written by percossa a percussion group based in Holland. played by 4 percussionists influenced by brazilian samba music. dancers also contribute to the vocal sounds

ensemble- black vests with zips that match shorts. tight costumes made of lycra to sculpt body. audience can see lines of dancers body. complements clean lines of lighting grid. men wear open chest black vests
how do the costumes link to lighting?
skin tightness of the costumes allow for the audience to see dancers lines clearly which match the lines made by the lighting grid. when light shines on dancer their skin looks luminous and vibrant

- open front of men’s costume links to men showing off
- varying vibrant colours link to brazilian samba parades and festivities of carnivals
- tight lycra and mesh material links to femininity and masculinity that show off body physique
